VHA Membership Renewal

Partners of VHA
VHA partners with vendors and manufacturers across the United States
that offer the products and services you utilize every day.
We negotiate with these partners for exclusive, member-only discounts,
pricing, and rebate opportunities.
Founded in 1984 by Minnesota veterinarians, VHA is a nonprofit association improving veterinary practices for over 40 years. We combine co-op, distributor, and business services. VHA offers members competitive product pricing, partner discounts, affordable solutions, CE opportunities, and ethical cremation services. As a nonprofit cooperative, we prioritize members over investors. Our goal is your success. We help manage your business so you can focus on exceptional animal care.
When you become a VHA Member, you gain access to a wide variety of benefits that cover everything your clinic needs from snout to tail:
For over 35 years, VHA has provided dignified, caring, and reliable animal cremation service, owned and supervised by member veterinarians. Our multiple checkpoint system ensures that the cremation of each animal meets the owner’s wishes.
A key benefit of VHA membership is our group purchasing program. By purchasing in volume from manufacturers and suppliers, VHA is able to offer members “one-stop shopping” for all the products and supplies a practice needs.
VHA has experienced specialists on staff with knowledge and experience in practice services from bookkeeping to recruiting, and everything in between. We act as your supportive partner so you can focus on client care.
From single-practitioner clinics to large multi-doctor hospitals, VHA has members of all shapes and sizes from coast to coast.
What began in 1984 as a small group of veterinarians working together has grown into one of the largest cooperatives of veterinarians in the world.
As a nonprofit organization, VHA distributes rebates every year back to our members so that clinics can keep more of their hard-earned money.

April is the busiest month on the veterinary content calendar, and that’s a good thing. Between Heartworm Awareness Month, National Pet First Aid Awareness Month, and a handful of fun observances sprinkled throughout, you’ve got built-in hooks for every type of post: educational, heartwarming, and even a little

If you manage your practice’s Facebook page, you’ve probably noticed the @Followers tag option when writing a post. It sounds useful (notify your followers directly!), but like most tools in social media, it works best when used with intention. Use it too often and it becomes noise. Use
I have been a member of VHA for many years, and its value to my practice just keeps growing. The ability to get group pricing on small quantities of product got me started when my practice was small, and now that it has grown, it still offers great value to us. I was a member of the old Member Services committee for several years, and this virtually unknown group of vets, techs and VHA reps was instrumental in starting the Expo, expanding CE opportunities, and pointing the Group toward what it has become: a valuable resource-laden tool for practices of all sizes. It’s been fun to see it take off. The new management that came in several years ago has done an amazing job expanding the territory, scope, and mission of VHA.
